The Suzuki method of talent education is a philosophy developed by Shinichi Suzuki after World War II in Japan. The philosophy is based on the idea that every child can learn. Beginning at an early age, a child’s active participation, listening to music, and parental involvement are all integral components of this proven method.

The Suzuki School of Music, serving Bismarck-Mandan since 1986, is dedicated to enriching the lives of people in the community through the Suzuki approach of talent education. SSOM offers talent education classes in violin, viola, cello, piano and voice for all ages and infant, toddler and preschool classes for ages newborn to five years old.
