ECE Toddler Steps 3-5

Suzuki believes strongly that, just as in language learning, you cannot start music learning too soon. Science has shown that while the brain is in its early stages of development, various types of learning can actually change the mapping of the brain and increase its potential for later development. Music learning has been shown to pave the way for high-level cognitive skills such as math and reading. The window for learning language is open widest in the early years. The same appears to be true for learning music.

Shinichi Suzuki once said, “Knowledge is not ability, ability is knowledge times 10,000.”

Suzuki School of Music offers 3 sessions of ECE Toddler classes. Team teachers, Sue Neumann and Julie Hart, instruct the ECE classes for one hour of interaction with music. Using drums, xylophone, triangle, and other instruments, the children sing songs, play games, learn rhythms, play instruments and absorb music at their own pace in a gentle, nurturing, Suzuki environment.

Early Childhood Education classes begin at birth or any time after. Classes are held from September through May, in 10-week sessions, and you may join at any time.
